(ISC)2 Twin Cities April Meeting – Professional Development — 3 Focus Areas for 2017

Register

As an organization overseeing several security certifications, (ISC)² has codified the importance of continuing professional development for its credential holders. But instead of focusing solely on the technical aspects of professional development (Group A), (ISC)² also specified a set of activities and areas under Group B, that are key to enabling members to grow into their professions, both today, and in the future.

In this presentation, we’ll cover three key focus areas from Group B for 2017 for cybersecurity professionals, whether new in the field, or veterans with decades of experience.

Key learning points:

  • When it comes to non-technical skills, are you developing the right skills?
  • Are you thinking strategically enough?
  • What can you learn from putting yourself virtually on the job market?
